Position: Accounts Payable Clerk/Assistant Administrator

Clockwork Construction Inc is a general contractor that specializes in commercial construction
with a focus on restaurant construction, remodels, new construction, conversions, and other
commercial projects. The selected candidate will have a strong list of clients/industry contacts and
will be responsible for and have the following qualifications:
Key Responsibilities:
Assist bookkeeper on an as-needed basis with varying tasks and assignments
Reviews all invoices and pay applications for appropriate documentation, submit for
approval, print and release checks
Audit approved invoices for proper backup and data input.
Maintain electronic files of paid and unpaid invoices and paid checks.
Download, review and post invoices.
Reconcile the A/P Aging to the G/L balance
Ad-hoc projects and/or reports as needed
Collect paperwork needed in order to process invoices, lien releases, close-out documents,
signed CO’s, COI’s, W9’s
Provide administrative support and assist in the day-to-day operations of the Construction
team.
Communicate routinely with Project Managers and provide reports on current
Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned.
Qualifications
● 1+ year of recent accounts payable experience.
● Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, and Excel, general ledger software and knowledge
of Windows based applications.
● Accurately and quickly work a 10-key pad.
● Must be customer service-oriented.
● Possess excellent organizational, written and communication skills.
● Have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced, constantly changing environment.
● Be able to work independently without constant supervision
● Ability to work in a team environment
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Compensation: Salary DOE plus variable bonuses based upon company and individual
performance
