Position Overview
The Biomedical Imaging Engineer III is responsible for installing, inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating and verifying the performance of complex and intricate medical imaging equipment, including, but not limited to, MRI, CT, Cath-Labs, Radiation, Oncology, and all other areas of medical imaging modalities. This position is required to be familiar with all classes of clinical equipment and may perform maintenance on equipment outside of these specialty areas. The Imaging Engineer III serves as an advisor to medical and clinical staff in the specification, acquisition, safe use, and proper operation of specialty equipment.

Primary Work Shift: Day
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
Compensation Range: $27.80 - $41.69 per hour, depending on experience
Education/Experience - Minimum Required:
- Associates Degree in technical/electronics field.
- 6 years experience in the repair, maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of medical imaging equipment with an additional 3 years experience as a biomed tech.
- Preferred:
- 10-12 years experience in the repair, maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of medical imaging equipment.
License/Certification - Minimum Required:
- OEM Certification on a Radiology Modality.
- Preferred:
- Two (2) to Four (4) OEM Certifications on Radiology Modalities.
