About the Role

The Human Resources Analyst I/II will support a wide variety of functions within the company’s Human Resources program, including recruitment and staffing, employee training and development, and performance management. This position plays a key administrative role and works closely with analysts, managers, and other stakeholders to help ensure smooth execution of HR operations and initiatives.

You will be part of a progressive and customer-focused HR team that supports over 400 employees at all career stages, from entry-level interns to senior executives—across various technical fields. • Create new hire and benefits folders; coordinate with Payroll as needed.
  • Enter salary data and apply updates in relevant HR systems.
  • Process employment changes (transfers, separations, extensions) and generate necessary documentation and communications.
  • Provide administrative assistance for full-cycle recruitment and talent acquisition efforts; work within the agency’s Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new hires; communicate with IT and Facilities teams to support transitions for new and promoted employees.
  • Deliver responsive, professional customer service; assist with general HR-related inquiries.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of HR storage and filing rooms.
  • Perform general administrative tasks including document processing, invoice handling, and support for special projects and process improvements.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business/public administration, or related field preferred. A combination of education and recent relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of 1 year of administrative support or secretarial experience, preferably within a Human Resources or Payroll environment.
  • Proven ability to handle a high volume of data entry with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills; capable of managing multiple time-sensitive onboarding and recruitment activities.
  • Skilled in using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel for administrative support and data tracking.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; capable of professionally and courteously addressing employee needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality, especially when handling sensitive data such as compensation, demographics, and personnel records.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, respond promptly to inquiries, and adapt to a dynamic work environment.

Additional Requirements

  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment criminal background check and credit check.
  • Periodic re-checks of background and credit will be required as a condition of employment.
