Job Description

Human Resources Generalist (On-Site)

A company located in Grafton, WI is immediately seeking an On-Site HR Generalist on a contract basis. This position would be working standard business hours for 5 days a week (Monday–Friday).

The HR Generalist position will focus on recruiting, retention, employee relations, LOA, benefits administration, open enrollment, training, onboarding and payroll support.

Responsibilities of the HR Generalist

  • Overseeing full life cycle recruitment and talent acquisition
  • Coordinating employee performance reviews
  • Acting as point of contact for employee compensation, PTO, and other HR related topics
  • Performing employee morale and retention best practices research
  • Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local benefit and employment laws
  • Maintaining employee documentation and other personnel files
  • Administering employee benefit enrollment processes

Requirements of the HR Generalist

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field
  • 3-5 plus years of HR Generalist experience
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
  • Knowledgeable of HRIS systems
  • Familiarity with employment laws and best practices
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Additional Details:

Salary Range: $40hr-$45hr

Employment Type: Temp/Contract

Location – Grafton, WI 53024 (Fully On-Site as Local Candidates Only)

Work Hours: Monday- Friday 8am-5pm or 8:30am-5:30pm (on-site)

The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
