Job Summary
We are seeking for an enthusiastic and experienced Maintenance Technician - HVACR to be responsible for carrying out necessary equipment, building and ground repairs, facility PMs, and utility operations associated with the facilities.
To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required:
Shall adhere to all applicable regulatory requirements, including FDA, EPA, OSHA, and related safety, health and environmental procedures, policies and practices.
Identify and protect the original technical information as part of the company property.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate, maintain, and repair plant utilities as follows: Air handling equipment and systems; Air conditioning and refrigeration equipment and systems; Boilers (steam and hot water), plant steam, and plant hot water; Chillers and chilled water systems; Air compressors, air dryers, and compressed air systems; Nitrogen system; Domestic hot and cold water system; Natural gas systems; USP Purified Water and distribution systems; Clean steam generator and clean steam systems; Plant sewer and waste neutralization systems.
Maintain production equipment to include completing scheduled PMs, routine repairs, and assisting vendors with the repairs of the equipment.
Troubleshoot electrical circuitry including 0-5v or 4-20mA control loops.
Good Knowledge of HVAC humidification and dehumidification system.
Experience in replacing the compressor, Motors, Valves in the HVAC system.
General facility repairs to include painting and patching walls, door repair, roof repair, etc.
Maintain PM system to include developing new procedures and schedules, assessing effectiveness of PM programs with regard to equipment operation and downtime.
Manage cost of materials, projects, and supplies; emphasis on developing and staying within budget.
Maintain appropriate documentation for the Maintenance department.
As needed, train employees within the department.
Use company electronic systems BMS and other systems.
OTHER or ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform other job-related duties as assigned at the discretion of management.

Required Qualifications:
HVAC Maintenance: 4 years
HVAC Journeyman License
Pharmaceutical and Critical facility experience (Preferred)
Experience & Education:
Technical trade school: HVAC/Refrigerated Systems (EPA 608 Universal Certification).
Minimum 4 years job experience in manufacturing industry.
HVAC Journeyman License.
Solid understanding of OSHA, NEW and other industrial standards required.
Physical Requirements/Working Environment:
Frequent lifting, bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling can be expected.
Long periods of standing and walking can be expected in this position.
This position may require long periods of sitting, typing, computer entry or looking at a computer.
