Job Description

A well-regarded Fort Lauderdale law firm is seeking a full-time Family Law Legal Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

  • File court documents electronically in compliance with procedural requirements
  • Manage attorney calendars, including hearings, deadlines, and appointments
  • Prepare pleadings, letters, and other legal documents
  • Track case progress and ensure timely completion of pending tasks
  • Maintain organized digital case records, including correspondence and filings

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of legal assistant experience, family law knowledge required
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficient with electronic filing and calendar management
  • Comfortable with legal software and general office technology
  • Professional communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
