Our client, a leading global law firm, is seeking a Legal Review Attorney to join its New York-based legal team. In this role, you’ll support high-stakes litigation, regulatory investigations, and trial preparation by conducting substantive document reviews and collaborating with senior legal teams and eDiscovery professionals. Ideal candidates will be licensed in New York, possess relevant post-graduate experience, and bring sound judgment on privilege issues and litigation strategy. Proficiency in Relativity and a background in commercial legal environments are essential, while Spanish fluency is a valued asset. The Role Legal Review Attorneys are part of our legal team, working closely with Senior Managers, Managers, eDiscovery teams, and instructing case teams. The primary responsibility of Legal Review Attorneys will be performing document review in connection with discovery, investigations (internal and regulatory), and in preparation for depositions and trial. Note that limited travel, to other offices or to clients, may be required from time to time.
Key Responsibilities - Conducting document review, due diligence or other practice area-specific fee-earning work (there will be target average daily chargeable hours).
- Undertake Quality Control and, as necessary, provide constructive feedback to reviewers to ensure that output is consistent with company quality standards.
- On appropriate projects, as required, working directly with other company practice groups in our global network to deliver high-quality support to clients and the company legal teams.
- Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of areas of law relevant to the practice.
- Ensuring compliance with financial disciplines on matters (e.g. daily time recording).
- Providing any other assistance to the business on client matters and related tasks as required.

Qualifications, skills and experience Essential- JD, LLM or LLB from an accredited institution is required.
- Admission to and good standing with the Bar of the State of New York.
- Postgraduate experience in related substantive litigation or investigative matters.
- Experience working in a commercial legal environment, ideally a private practice law firm.
- Demonstrated ability to make correct decisions regarding application of relevant legal privileges and protections.
- Demonstrated ability to utilize standard document review software, e.g., Relativity.
Desirable- Demonstrated fluency in both written and spoken Spanish, including formal business language, is preferred.
Expected salary for this role is $115,000 - $135,000, commensurate with experience, training, skills, qualifications, and other market factors.
