Now Hiring: Part-Time Maintenance Technician – 25 Hours per Week

Location: Neenah, WI

Adava Care is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Maintenance Technician to support our two elderly care facilities in the Neenah area. The ideal candidate will bring a solid background in facilities maintenance, possess technical proficiency, and demonstrate a commitment to ensuring our environment is safe, functional, and comfortable for our residents.

As a Maintenance Technician at Adava Care, you will play a vital role in the upkeep and safety of our buildings and grounds, ensuring our facilities operate smoothly and efficiently. Your contributions will directly impact the comfort and well-being of the residents we serve.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and maintain the inside of the building, including common areas and offices, ensuring any house equipment repairs are completed.
• Implement and document a preventative maintenance program for both the building and equipment.
• Maintain the grounds, including external building repairs, lawn care, and garbage removal as assigned.
• Identify, observe, and report any problems or concerns related to resident units, building structures, or grounds, communicating them promptly.
• Collaborate with the Administrator to ensure that emergency maintenance procedures are assigned, and records for repairs related to regulations and safety are accurately maintained.

Experience and Skills:

• Familiarity with minor repair and maintenance techniques for structural, electrical, plumbing, security, and heating & cooling systems.
• Previous experience in janitorial or maintenance work is preferred.
• Experience in building safety, hazard reduction, and general upkeep is a plus.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
