Mammography Technologist

Mammography Technologist needed in Fort Myers, FL.

Salary and Benefits

• The hourly pay range for this position is $28.94 (MidPoint) to $37.62 an HR
• Sign-On: $10,000k paid over your first 3 checks ( 1+ year of experience)
• Shift Differential – $6 for nights, 3 pm - 11 pm, $3 hr
• Housing Allowance $1,800 a month for the first 3 months
• Health Insurance – Employers Pay 80%

Responsibilities

• Performs screening and diagnostic mammography as well as bone densitometry.
• Ensure the quality and safety of imaging procedures
• Works positively with all customers to promote patient, employee, and physician satisfaction.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives.
• Participates in staff/student orientation training

Requirements

• 2 years of formal education in a hospital-based program or an associate's degree in radiologic technology is required.
• 1 year of mammography experience preferred.
• ARRT certification in radiology or radiology board eligible. ARRT certification in mammography preferred.
  • ARRT certification in mammography will be required within 12 months or less from the date of employment.
  • Completion of 40 hours of required MQSA mammography training. Must complete mammography ARRT board certification within 12 months or less from the date of employment.
• Clear and Active Radiologic Technology license in the state of Florida required.
