We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Manager of Billing and Records to lead our cooperative’s billing operations and member records. This role is responsible for ensuring timely, accurate billing, maintaining account data integrity, and interpreting meter data. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership skills, utility billing expertise, and a commitment to excellent member service.
Supervise billing and records staff, including training and performance oversight.
Ensure accurate billing and member account maintenance.
Analyze meter data and reconcile discrepancies.
Collaborate with IT, accounting, and member services to improve processes.
Ensure regulatory compliance and data privacy.
High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in business or accounting preferred.
At least 2 years of experience in utility billing or records, and 2 years in a supervisory role.
Experience in an electric cooperative or regulated utility preferred.
Knowledge of utility billing systems and metering data.
Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office.
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality.
Understanding of cooperative principles and customer-focused service.
