Job Description

SUMMARY:

Responsible for overseeing the building and assembly, and enclosures, while under the general supervision of the Production Supervisor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee, train, and lay out the processes for the building and assembly of enclosures, sub-assemblies, and custom enclosures.
  • Develop a training schedule for the team and assembly lines.
  • Review work tickets, drawings, and BOMs to ensure accuracy.
  • Ability to identify problems and evaluate solutions through corrective actions and lean processes.
  • Regularly seeks input from appropriate management, peers, if necessary, and makes sound decisions.
  • Work with the team to increase productivity, quality, and flow.
  • Practice lean manufacturing methods.
  • Abide by all rules and regulations as outlined in your employee handbook.
  • Sustains 5S in workstations.
  • Practices the Company’s core values daily.
  • Perform other duties/tasks as assigned.

· Ability to navigate through an ERP system for source parts substitution.

· Ability to work with a computer, camera, and Microsoft Office software.

· Ability to train and lead Assemblers on the proper procedures.

· Ability to multitask multiple orders through completion.

· Ability to read, train, and red-line drawings, work tickets, BOM's and wiring schematics.

· Ability to use and train small hand tools, measuring tools, wiring prepping tools, and machines in the shop.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

1 year of experience as an assembler

1-year electrical experience

1 year of forklift experience

1-2 years of working lead manufacturing experience strongly preferred
