JOB SUMMARY
The primary task of the Water Spider is to ensure a smooth workflow by replenishing inventory, transporting materials, and minimizing production downtime. By efficiently managing supplies and reducing the need for workers to leave their stations, Water Spiders help improve productivity and maintain a steady production process. This role requires attention to detail, organization, and the ability to move quickly between different areas.
GENERAL EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
• High school diploma or GED
• A minimum of 2 years Manufacturing or Material Handling experience.
• Proficient computer knowledge and/or ability:
o Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook
o ERP software
• Ability to gain knowledge, understand, and abide by:

o Quality Processes and Procedures
o Assembly Processes, Procedures, and Work Instructions

• Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Excellent organization and communication skills with a high level of attention to detail.

SPECIFIC JOB FUNCTIONS
The following are some of the principal job functions; however, other duties and activities may be required in the performance of this job:
• Transport materials, tools, and supplies to workstations as needed.
• Monitor material levels, identify and communicate shortages, and replenish stock to prevent production delays.
• Safely and efficiently move materials using equipment like pallet jacks or forklifts.
• Interact with production team members to coordinate material needs and address any issues.
• Accurately enter material transactions within ERP system.
• Ensure that all material staging areas are kept neat and orderly.
• Perform other duties as requested, directed, and assigned by Supervisor or Management team.
PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Lift up to 50 lbs. with no restrictions
• Negative drug screen
• Vision, with or without correction, must be adequate to perform the required job functions
• Must be able to obtain forklift certification
• Must be able to access all areas of the facility to determine needs
WORK ENVIRONMENT
• While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to change from sitting to standing. When on the Manufacturing floor employee may occasionally be exposed to a variety of extreme conditions and the noise level can be moderate to loud.
