Are you a proactive and versatile individual ready to assist with a variety of tasks in a dynamic workroom environment? The Workroom Collective, a nationally recognized custom workroom rooted in craftsmanship and collaboration, is looking for a General Helper to support our team.

Starting at $15.00 | Full-Time | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (50 minutes of combined breaktime daily)

What You'll Be Doing (and Trained For):

• Shipping & Receiving Operations:
  • Handle all aspects of outbound shipping, from boxing to data entry.
  • Oversee incoming material reception, including checking in fabrics and coordinating deliveries.
  • Monitor and manage fabric and lining stock levels, communicating low inventory to management.
• Production & Assembly Assistance:
  • Provide hands-on support for production stages, including fabric organization and material handling.
  • Operate tools for cutting aluminum and wood to specific dimensions.
  • Perform precise stapling of boards.
  • Locate and prepare necessary fabrics and linings for orders.
  • Help maintain a tidy and efficient workroom by assisting with equipment and material movement.
  • Systematize the filing and storage of fabric rolls and glass.
• Machine Basics:
  • Gain practical knowledge in basic sewing machine maintenance, particularly tension setting.
• Support & Collaboration:
  • Lend a hand on various team initiatives.
  • Contribute to a supportive and cohesive team atmosphere.
