Our client is seeking certified and non-certified paraprofessionals to provide 1:1 care with students. The paraprofessional should be a hardworking, honest, reliable and responsible individual to work with children with medical and behavioral needs.

The Special Education Paraprofessional supports teachers in meeting the educational, behavioral and social emotional needs of students with disabilities in the classroom and community.

CLIENT'S SUMMARY PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Assists the teacher in the preparation of educational materials for students.
*Works individually with students and/or in small groups to help reinforce learning objectives.
*Assists with all aspects of the daily routine, including distributing and collecting supplies, keeping attendance records, and grading quizzes as assigned.
*Participates in lunchroom, recess, hall-monitoring, and bus duties.
*Assists with preparing and maintaining bulletin boards and other learning centers areas for instruction.
*Performs other duties as assigned by the appropriate administrator.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
CERTIFICATION: Must obtain and maintain valid Georgia Paraprofessional Certificate or be eligible for certificate.
EDUCATION: Associates Degree - 2 years of college credit (minimum of approved 60 semester hours or 90 quarter hours) OR passing score on the GACE Paraprofessional Assessment Test required (with minimum High School Diploma/GED
