Job Description

• Polishing:

  Hand polish clean glassware, silverware, and other tableware to remove smudges, fingerprints, and water spots.  

• Organization:

  Maintain a clean and organized polishing station, ensuring proper tools and supplies are readily available.  

   

• Hygiene:

  Adhere to hygiene and sanitation standards throughout the polishing process.  

   

• Communication:

  Communicate effectively with other team members to ensure smooth service and address any needs.  

   

Additional Responsibilities:

• Deep Cleaning:   Participate in periodic deep cleaning tasks within the restaurant.  

   

• Following Instructions:   Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and instructions provided by supervisors.  

   

• Maintenance:   Maintain any tools or equipment used in the polishing process.  

   

Key Skills and Qualities:

• Attention to Detail:   A keen eye for detail is essential for spotting imperfections and ensuring items are perfectly polished.  

   

• Efficiency:   Work quickly and effectively, especially during peak hours, to maintain a steady supply of clean tableware.  

   

• Physical Stamina:   The ability to stand for extended periods and lift items (sometimes up to 50 lbs) is often required.  

   

• Teamwork:   Collaborate effectively with other team members to ensure smooth service.  

   

• Hygiene and Sanitation:   Maintain high standards of cleanliness and adhere to sanitation protocols.  

   

• Ability to Follow Instructions:   Adhere to all company policies and instructions provided by supervisors.
