We’re Hiring: Highly Organized and Strategic Schedule Coordinator & Recruiter About the Role: We are seeking a highly organized, strategic, and proactive Schedule Coordinator & Recruiter to join our growing team. This pivotal role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, thinks critically under pressure, and has a talent for aligning the right staff with the right clients. You will be responsible not only for efficient scheduling and staff coordination, but also for recruiting, screening, and onboarding high-quality care professionals to meet growing client demands. This role demands excellent communication, strategic foresight, and the ability to maintain low missed shifts while fostering strong relationships with clients, staff, and insurance providers. Key Responsibilities: * Efficiently schedule staff to align with client needs, preferences, and availability * Recruit, screen, and onboard new care staff to ensure adequate coverage and team quality * Maintain low missed shift rates by proactively addressing gaps, last-minute call-offs, and coverage needs * Anticipate and resolve scheduling conflicts with minimal disruption to client care * Develop a deep understanding of client care requirements and staff skill sets * Create and manage scheduling reports to monitor trends, staffing gaps, and performance metrics * Serve as the main point of contact for employees, clients, and insurance providers regarding schedule changes or updates * Maintain accurate records and timely communication across all platforms * Work closely with management and HR to align scheduling strategies with organizational needs * Create Missed Shift Reports and effectively communicate findings to Case Management Team Key Traits and Competencies: * Exceptionally organized – skilled at managing multiple priorities, calendars, and shifts without oversight * Critical thinker – evaluates situations with depth and responds with sound judgment under pressure * Strategic communicator – professional, clear, and confident in written and verbal interactions * Problem-solver – quick to resolve conflicts, staffing shortages, or last-minute challenges * Forward-thinking – anticipates needs and plans proactively to avoid scheduling disruptions * People-oriented – understands how to match the right employee to the right client for successful outcomes * Recruitment-minded – able to attract, evaluate, and onboard talent aligned with our mission and values * Professional - Ability to remain professional in high stress situations Preferred Qualifications: * Experience in home care, healthcare staffing, or scheduling coordination * Familiarity with scheduling software, digital tools, and communication platforms * Demonstrated ability to maintain or improve low missed shift rates * Prior recruiting or HR experience is highly valued
