The Restaurant Marketing Director is a high challenge, high energy role leading all areas related to the marketing, advertising, and public relations efforts of the restaurant. Restaurant Marketing Director role:

Requirements :

4-year marketing degree in progress / completed.

3 years’ experience in executing an annual marketing plan involving on-site activation, social media, and B2B relationships.

Working knowledge of Apple OS devices, along with TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, and YouTube. 

Available Monday – Saturday, 6:30am to 11pm. Directors will be off on Sunday and one additional day per week (not to include national holiday weeks/weekends)

I’m looking for a Restaurant Marketing Director for the Chick-fil-A in Chesterfield Valley. 

Your availability needs to encompass the range of hours the restaurant is open, which currently is 6:30am-10pm (closers are usually out by 11).

You will be spending 80% of your time directly in the planning and executing of the annual marketing plan and the remaining 20% on back office administrative tasks and in-person events ranging from coordinating in-restaurant events and fundraisers, managing the speaking / appearance calendar for the Operator, and attending community outreach events on behalf of the restaurant. 

• Work with the Owner/Operator to establish the long-term plan for continued sales growth and sustained profitability.

• Serves on the Executive Leadership Team as a strategic partner and attends the weekly executive team meeting.

• Creates, communicates and executes the yearly marketing business plan.

• Ensures all restaurant Social Media pages are continuously advertised, updated, maintained, and remain relevant to both our brand and our guests.

• Works 30 hours “On” the business (Guest response and outreach, making community appearances, making a game plan for successful marketing events and focusing on achieving business plan goals) and 10 hours working lunch or

dinner peak hours (Meeting and hosting guests, educating them on our brand and marketing events, and increasing our “Overall Satisfaction” measurement score).

• Uses the in-store platform to meet new guests and takeadvantage of the opportunities to put into action the emotional connections marketing strategy.

• Markets store events, Team member’s successes and overall Brand Awareness by visiting with guests while modeling 2nd mile service behaviors.

• Plans, communicates and ensures the execution of family nights and school fundraisers.

• Plans, communicates and executes in-restaurant community events.

• Ensures menu boards, community boards and P.O.P materials are installed properly and on time.

• Celebrates team member birthdays and years of service recognitions.

• Leads with Food, People, Cows and Influence in all Marketing Opportunities.

• Plans, communicates, advertises and executes all sponsorship events.

• Communicates & incorporates all corporate marketing calendar and St. Louis market events to our team and guests.

• Provides Proper Training and Communication of Marketing Expectations to all Marketing Event Team Members.

• Increases Store sales through catering sales, events, and/or increasing store foot traffic.

• Represents Chesterfield Valley CFA in the local Chamber of Commerce.

• Fosters a positive relationship with all local hospitals, universities, and Rockwood/Parkway/Ft. Zumwalt/Francis Howell school districts.

• Assists Fire, Police and Emergency Crisis Departments in times of need.

• Assists churches in positively impacting the lives of those around them.

• Strategically fulfills donations request to community groups for events (Baskets, Door Prizes, etc.).

• Maintains an organized marketing storage area with an updated inventory supply list.

• Manages a monthly marketing budget according to yearly marketing plan.

• Ensures all marketing tools are properly used, cleaned and stored.

• Tracks Return on Investment (ROI) on all marketing events, social media posts, and digital offer card distribution to asses’ effectiveness.
