NBCUniversal Global TV Distribution is responsible for the licensing and distribution of NBCUniversal product to all forms of television and streaming platforms in the U.S., Canada and in over 200 territories internationally. NBCUniversal’s content portfolio includes a vast and diverse library of more than 6,500 feature films and 170,000 television episodes, including current and classic titles, non-scripted programming, kids, sports, news, long-form and short-form programming from Universal Pictures, Focus Features, Universal Television, UCP, Universal International Studios, Sky Studios, Universal Television Alternative Studio, NBC Late Night properties, DreamWorks Animation, Telemundo, Universal Pictures Content Group, as well as locally produced content from around the world, and more. Global TV Distribution is a division of Comcast NBCUniversal.

Overview:

The Senior Financial Analyst of Global TVD Finance is responsible for Financial Planning and Analysis of NBCUniversal’s Filmed Entertainment product distributed in the Linear Free and Basic, Premium Pay, Subscription-VOD markets and Ad based-VOD markets. The SFA will support the development and analysis of revenue budgets and forecasts. This position will report to the Finance Manager and will be responsible for working collaboratively with the Sales, Sales Strategy, Sales Administration, Controllership and Information Technology groups.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for preparing all aspects of financial planning (Annual Revenue Budget and Forecasts, Monthly Pacing) across multiple platforms and territories
  • Create and maintain deal analysis and financial models for international deals
  • Analyze financial results against prior plan/forecasts, including identifying major financial drivers and providing variance analysis
  • Understand licensing and distribution agreements, assessing financial impact of deals
  • Participate in quarter close process, including tracking and review of revenue recognition
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analyses to support senior management decisions and initiatives

Qualifications



Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
  • 2+ years of experience in performing quantitative analysis, forecasting, and/or financial modeling
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and pivot tables
