At Disc Replay, we buy and sell video games, movies, electronics, and collectibles. Our customers bring us cool stuff all day long.

We pay cash on the spot to buy their stuff and then we resell it to others.

Disc Replay is a great environment to be in for video gamers, movie buffs, and those into pop culture!

As the Social Media Lead, you would be responsible for creating and schedule several posts, shorts/reels, stories, and lives to showcase our awesome products. You'll create content to drive engagement with our customers, including showing off our merchandise and promoting our store. You'll also oversee our store responding to customer comments and insights!

This is not a desk job. You'll be constantly creating content in the store for our social media accounts. This content should be engaging, humorous, and fun :)

Responsibilities

• Engage with the local community online at the beginning and end of all shifts
• Identify the store marketing goals and use those to create content
• Create captions that hook viewers and capture content that grows followers
• Light edit work (we want customers to see what's going on in the stores, authentically... not add a bunch of cartoon/text/sticker filler stuff
• Schedule Content
• Exhibit our core values (Radical Honesty and Transparency, Resilient Optimism, Empathetic Listener, Curious & Adaptive, Accountable & Humble, Makes it happen)
• Embrace change, take risks, and try new ideas to help our store grow and evolve

Requirements

• Strong experience creating social media content (personal or professional experience is fine)
• Fun personality, ability to add humor to content, and ability to get the team members out of their comfort zone and into content)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
