Plano, TX | Hybrid - Short Term Project
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• $33.00–$38.00/hour
• 30 hours/week, Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (8-hour days)
• W2, Anticipated Start and End Dates: 09/15/2025 – 12/12/2025
ROLE IMPACT
This position supports marketing communications through the creation, execution, and optimization of social media content. The Social Media Specialist will drive engagement across platforms with strategic content, paid campaigns, and community management. Success in this role is defined by timely execution, brand alignment, and measurable performance impact.
KEY DUTIES
• Develop monthly social media content including images, videos, live streams, GIFs, carousels, stories, and giveaways
• Manage paid social media campaigns and coordinate with internal stakeholders and external agencies
• Deliver content and campaigns on-time, within scope and budget
• Conduct community and crisis management across corporate social channels
• Curate and moderate User Generated Content (UGC) for brand use
• Collaborate with internal teams to align content with product launches and marketing priorities
• Partner with global and cross-functional marketing teams on strategic initiatives
• Analyze performance metrics, generate insights, and recommend optimizations
• Educate employees on social media best practices and brand guidelines
• Represent company channels during live events and in video creation
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• 2+ years of experience in social media marketing (organic and paid)
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Experience with platforms such as Sprinklr, Hootsuite, or Falcon
• Strong communication, project management, and proofreading skills
EQUIPMENT & WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs of A/V equipment
• Job may require visits to construction sites involving walking on uneven surfaces, climbing scaffolding/ladders, and exposure to seasonal weather and loud environments
• Safety gear required on site: hardhat, vest, glasses, gloves, steel toe boots, and long pants; hearing protection as needed
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Premiere
• Vendor and budget management experience
• Ability to produce live content and represent brand voice on camera
