Job Description

A leading construction and infrastructure firm is currently seeking an experienced Senior Scheduler & Scheduling Manager to join its dynamic team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and can effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing and coordinating planning and scheduling activities across complex construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of planning and scheduling on active construction sites
  • Supervise, mentor, and provide guidance to scheduling team members and field staff
  • Ensure adherence to company scheduling standards and compliance across all project activities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to maintain schedule integrity and project timelines
  • Develop, analyze, and maintain construction schedules using recognized scheduling tools and methodologies
  • Foster a safe and collaborative team environment aligned with the company’s Zero Injury Safety Program
  • Participate in personnel decisions, including hiring and performance reviews, as needed
  • Engage with stakeholders including clients, subcontractors, architects, and union reps to maintain strong working relationships
  • Recommend improvements for site logistics, scheduling practices, and project workflows
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by leadership

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil or Architectural Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of 6 years of construction scheduling experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong understanding of project scheduling principles and scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project, etc.)
  • In-depth knowledge of construction practices, sequencing, and field execution
  • Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities
  • Familiarity with 4D planning and visual scheduling tools is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of project cost, resource loading, and contract management
  • Ability to communicate effectively, listen actively, and contribute in a team-driven environment
  • Willingness to travel as needed based on project location
  • Valid driver’s license
