The Peacock Room in Detroit, MI is looking for theater night support to join our team. We are located in the Fisher Building on 3011 West Grand Blvd. Our ideal candidate is energetic, enjoys theater, and engaging. This seasonal position runs September 2024 - June 2025 during show runs at the Fisher Theatre only. Shifts are generally 4:30-7:30PM, 5-7PM or 6-8pm weekdays, and could be up to 12-8pm weekends. The Peacock Room Family of Shops’ mission is to enhance Detroit communities through the empowerment of women, attentive service, an awe-inspiring environment, and an offering of quality apparel and accessories. A stylist will be responsible for all facets of the business. Our stylists will drive sales and keep the store looking presentable through merchandising. They will have a passion for fashion and our customers, and lead our values by example.  A stylist will have a sense of personal style, polished appearance, refined taste and a discerning eye for our clients. They will understand the importance of attracting and retaining customers through marketing of all our brands.  ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES  • Represent our Values • Build and maintain relationships with the customers and team  • Learn and communicate our product assortment, style trends • Keep a positive attitude • Advocate for our family of shops  • Maintain an aesthetically-pleasing environment • No travel time required RELATED COMPETENCIES • Desire to provide elevated level of service  • Strong interpersonal skills, high energy • Results-driven • Gains insights from mistakes, seeks feedback from colleagues to improve results • Has Initiative, Creativity, Point of View, Work Ethic • Proficiency with POS System, Spotify music application, and  Google Applications Experience  • Public-facing positions, and/or esteemed tastemaker * Knowledge of broadway shows and places to eat in the area preferred.
