Job Description

Boardroom is looking for a Video Editor to join our video team, working closely on a wide variety of short and long form content franchises and branded content across Boardroom’s quickly expanding content slate.  

This role reports to the Sr. Director, Video, and we are looking for a sports and entertainment-loving creative with experience balancing multiple projects and hitting deadlines across various video formats.

Responsibilities: 

• Own edits end-to-end—from ingest and assembly through finishing and delivery—ensuring story clarity, pace, sound design, color, and polish meet Boardroom standards.
• Concept, design, and execute pro-level motion graphics in After Effects (titles, lower thirds/toolkits, kinetic typography, transitions, animated comps, archive treatments); build reusable templates and partner with design on larger packages when needed.
• Work closely with talent on script development, storytelling, show format/structure, guests, graphics, music, and any other creative elements as may be necessary 
• Deliver platform-specific masters and cut-downs (16:9, 9:16, 1:1), with captions, thumbnails, and spec-accurate exports.
• Help manage Boardroom’s video syndication process by uploading videos to Boardroom’s Video Content 

Qualifications

• 5+ years professional post-production editing experience in a high-volume media environment (publisher, studio, agency, or equivalent).
• Mastery of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (expressions/plugins familiarity); strong finishing craft (mixing in-app or via Audition), color correction (Lumetri; Resolve a plus).
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high-end editorial and graphics across short-form and long-form; portfolio/reel required.
• Experience with multi-cam and mixed-codec workflows; understanding of digital/broadcast loudness and delivery standards.
• Experience working with data storage programs, file sharing and Frame.IO  
• Strong knowledge of pre-production, production, and post-production workflows
• Experience working with on-screen talent and influencers 
• An understanding of content budgets, timelines, and productions crews 
• Familiarity with camera, lighting, and sound equipment for field and studio shoots
• Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple projects simultaneously 
• Stellar communication skills ensuring seamless updates are provided to cross-functional teams and issues are identified and surfaced to appropriate team members in a timely and professional manner 
• Experience working on sports and entertainment content a plus

• New  York, NY (Hybrid - 4 days in office)
