Pay Range: $55 – $60 per hour ($2,062.50 – $2,250 weekly)
We are seeking an experienced X-Ray Technician to join our team on a contract basis. The technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide compassionate patient care.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
Operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
Apply radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure risks.
Monitor image quality and adjust techniques for optimal results.
Accurately document patient care and exam completion.
Maintain radiology equipment and report necessary repairs.
Manage supply inventory and ensure imaging suites remain ready for use.
Adhere to infection control and safety policies.
Participate in continuing education and meet annual competency requirements.
Collaborate with the healthcare team and support department operations as needed.
Experience: 2+ years of radiology experience required.
Licensing: NY State Licensed Radiologic Technologist (L.R.T.).
Certification: ARRT Certification required.
Education: Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
Detail-oriented with a focus on patient safety and quality outcomes.
