Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. In this vital role, you will oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes, ensuring that the organization attracts, develops, and retains top talent. You will play a key role in shaping the company culture and driving employee engagement while ensuring compliance with employment labor laws.

As the HR Manager , you will lead all human resource functions across our hotel and restaurant operations. You’ll work closely with department heads to build a high-performing, motivated team, ensuring compliance, driving employee engagement, and supporting our growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with overall business goals.
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including talent acquisition, interviewing, and hiring.
  • Oversee employee onboarding and orientation programs.
  • Conduct employee evaluations and performance reviews.
  • Identify employee development needs and support career growth opportunities.
  • Lead talent management initiatives to retain and develop key staff.
  • Ensure compliance with all employment labor laws and regulations.
  • Implement and manage HR policies and procedures.
  • Utilize HR software systems (e.g., Toast Payroll) for efficient HR operations.
  • Design organizational structures that improve communication and collaboration.
  • Facilitate employee training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Address employee relations issues and provide support to staff and management.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture and employee engagement.
  • Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and HR systems management.
  • Support employee wellness and engagement initiatives.
  • Other related duties can be assgned.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role in human resources management.
  • Strong knowledge of employment labor law and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in HR software systems.
  • Excellent organizational design skills with an ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster positive relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics to drive decision-making in talent management initiatives.
  • A bachelor’s degree in human resources management or a related field is preferred.
  • Portuguese is preferred.
