The role involves collaborating closely with the plant supervisor and shop team to deliver high-quality projects on schedule. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting detailed drawings, schematics, and blueprints to produce finished components, as well as setting up and operating various shop equipment such as Bridgeport drill presses, hand drills, table saws, sanders, and buffers. The position also supports first article inspections with QA to ensure compliance with customer requirements using basic inspection tools like verniers and gage plugs. Adherence to all safety policies and best practices within the fabrication shop is essential.

· Ability to understand detailed drawings, schematics, shop drawings, and blueprints, and translate them into finished products.
· Prepare and set up machines and tooling for manufacturing including Bridgeport Drill Presses, hand drills, table saws, power sanders, buffers, etc.
· Work together with QA during the first article inspection to ensure conformance to customer requirements. Simple inspection using verniers, straight edges, gage plugs, etc.
· Adhere to all safety policies, and best practices in a fabrication shop
Education:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
Skills Required:
· At least 2 years of shop fabrication experience preferably in plastics
· Proficient knowledge of a broad range of fabrication techniques
· Experience with hand tools (cutters, sandpaper, screwdrivers, pliers) and power tools (drills, sanders) required
· Experience using a table saw preferred
· Experience using simple inspection tools, such as verniers, straightedges, gage plugs, etc. preferred
· Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Expected Hours of Work:
· This is a Full-Time Hourly position required to work Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends.
