About the Team: The Assembly & Final Test team at ZF Transmissions in Gray Court, SC, is a dynamic group of dedicated professionals. They specialize in producing both standard and plug-in hybrid transmissions for passenger and commercial vehicles. As part of the largest manufacturing site in North America, with nearly 2,000 employees plant-wide, this team plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. What you can look forward to as a Manufacturing Engineer:

• Design changes to enhance the machine functionality. 
• Continuously improve and upgrade equipment. 
• Troubleshoot and solve errors and problems on production equipment. 
• Plan work force utilization, space requirements, workflow and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency. 
• Confers with design staff concerning product design to ensure efficient production methods. 
• Determines product specifications for the purchase of equipment, materials, tooling, fixturing or parts, according to specifications and quality standards. 
• Assess potential suppliers for production equipment, tooling and fixturing. 
• Responsible for the implementation of the equipment on the floor from delivery to hand off to production. 

Your profile as a Manufacturing Engineer:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (BSME strongly preferred).
• 1+ years of experience with strong functional / product knowledge. 
• Proficient computer skills, strong MS Office (Excel) and knowledge.
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within Engineering. 
• Advanced knowledge of product line(s) and engineering design principles. Experience with engineering change systems. 
• In-depth understanding of engineering techniques and principles.
